This treaty came into effect at on August 19, 2002.
TREATY BETWEEN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF NAUTICA AND AERICAN EMPIRE
The High Contracting Parties:
UNITED KINGDOM OF NAUTICA
AERICAN EMPIRE
Article 1.
By this Treaty, the High Contracting Parties establish among themselvesdiplomatic relations.
Article 2.
The High Contracting Parties shall secure and guarantee to everyone withintheir jurisdiction the rights and freedoms defined in the UniversalDeclaration of Human Rights 1948 and in the European Convention for theProtection of Human Rights 1950.
Article 3.
1. The United Kingdom of Nautica hereby recognises the Aerican Empire as asovereign, independent and democratic state under International Law for allintents and purposes.
2. Aerican Empire hereby recognises The United Kingdom of Nautica as asovereign, independent and democratic state under International Law for allintents and purposes.
Article 4.
The High Contracting Parties shall secure to their citizens free movementbetween their respective territories at all times.
Provided that nothing in this Article confers Nautican citizenship or theright of abode in the United Kingdom of Nautica upon the citizens of AericanEmpire.
Provided also that nothing in this Article confers Aerican citizenship orthe right of abode in Aerican Empire upon the citizens of the United Kingdomof Nautica.
Article 5.
1. The United Kingdom of Nautica, being a neutral state, shall not allyitself with Aerican Empire but shall be free to take such measures as itshall deem expedient to maintain diplomatic relations between itself andsaid Aerican Empire, and shall take all measures within its power to protectand defend the citizens of said Aerican Empire who shall be within theUnited Kingdom of Nautica at any time during which said Aerican Empire shallbe engaged in war or hostilities with any other micronation.
2. Aerican Empire shall not ally itself with United Kingdom of Nautica butshall be free to take such measures as it shall deem expedient to maintaindiplomatic relations between itself and the United Kingdom of Nautica, andshall take all measures within its power to protect and defend the citizensof the United Kingdom of Nautica who shall be within the Aerican Empire atany time during which the United Kingdom of Nautica shall be engaged in waror hostilities with any other micronation.
3. United Kingdom of Nautica hereby affirms that it will not attack orinvade Aerican Empire, or otherwise violate the territorial integrity ornational sovereignty of the same, or harm the person or interests of anycitizen of the same.
4. Aerican Empire hereby affirms that it will not attack or invade theUnited Kingdom of Nautica, or otherwise violate the territorial integrity ornational sovereignty of the same, or harm the person or interests of anycitizen of the same.
Article 6.
No person shall suffer death for any offence. Under no circumstances mayeither of the High Contracting Parties deviate from this Article.
Article 7.
There shall only be required a visa by any citizen of either of the HighContracting Parties for his travel between the same High ContractingParties. Nevertheless, both High Contracting Parties shall not imposeobstacles in front of a visa request by a citizen of the other HighContracting Party.
Article 8.
Notwithstanding that citizenship is not conferred under any circumstances bythis Treaty, it shall be lawful for the citizens of one High ContractingParty to travel to the other High Contracting Party to work there or residethere:
Provided always that any such period of residence or work shall amount tonot more than one year at any one time.
Article 9.
1. The Head of State of Aerican Empire, the Prime Minister of AericanEmpire, the Government (or any member thereof) of Aerican Empire shall enjoyfull sovereign immunity whilst within the jurisdiction of the United Kingdomof Nautica.
2. The Ambassador of the Aerican Empire, any member of his diplomatic staff,or any other diplomat of any rank of Aerican Empire shall enjoy fulldiplomatic immunity whilst within the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom ofNautica.
3. His Imperial Royal Majesty of the United Kingdom of Nautica, theGovernment (or any member thereof) of the United Kingdom of Nautica shallenjoy full sovereign immunity whilst within the jurisdiction of AericanEmpire.
4. The Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Nautica, any member of hisdiplomatic staff, or any other diplomat of any rank of the United Kingdom ofNautica shall enjoy full diplomatic immunity whilst within the jurisdictionof Aerican Empire.
5. Nothing in this Article shall apply to the commission of treason orespionage against the United Kingdom of Nautica or against Aerican Empirerespectively by any of the persons heretofore mentioned.
6. In the United Kingdom of Nautica, the websites or any other virtualproperty which shall together constitute the Embassy of Aerican Empire shallbe deemed for the purposes of this Article to be part of the territory ofAerican Empire and as such shall be treated as being under the solejurisdiction of Aerican Empire; in Aerican Empire, the websites or any othervirtual property which shall together constitute the Embassy of the UnitedKingdom of Nautica shall be deemed for the purposes of this Article to bepart of the territory of the United Kingdom of Nautica and as such shall betreated as being under the sole jurisdiction of the United Kingdom ofNautica.
7. The High Contracting Parties hereby declare their assent to the ViennaConvention on Diplomatic Relations 1961, and their affirmation to abide byall and sundry the provisions of the same.
Article 10.
Upon the signing of this Treaty by His Imperial Royal Majesty, the Emperorof the United Kingdom of Nautica and His Excellency the Minister of ForeignAffairs, by the Empeor of the Aerican Empire, there shall be--
1. Established in the United Kingdom of Nautica an Embassy of AericanEmpire, which shall be occupied by an Ambassador appointed by the Emperor ofthe Aerican Empire and received by His Imperial Royal Majesty, the Emperorof the United Kingdom of Nautica:
2. Established in Aerican Empire an Embassy of the United Kingdom ofNautica, which shall be occupied by an Ambassador appointed by His ImperialRoyal Majesty, the Emperor of the United Kingdom of Nautica and received bythe Emperor of the Aerican Empire.
