Culling of the Inactive, 2006: [June 1]
In the month of June, the Aerican Empire conducts the Culling of the Inactive, a systematic activity check of all citizens. The purpose of this process is the ensure that everyone who holds citizenship in the Empire has a current valid e-mail address registered with the government and still desires citizenship. All citizens receive notice of the culling in their e-mail and additional notices are posted over the Empire's mailing list. You do not have to respond to the culling if 1) you are a current Senator, 2) you joined the Empire after May 1st, or 3) you posted to the mailing list after May 1st. If you do not meet these criteria, you must reply to your culling letter or contact the Emperor as soon as possible. Failure to respond to the culling before July 1st 2006 will result in termination of citizenship.
