The Ministry of Intermicronational Affairs handles matters of intermicronational collaboration or merger, such as annexations, transfers of citizenship, and cooperative non-political ventures. There is some overlap in duties with the Diplomacy and Foreign Ministry; that ministry was formed long before this and therefore, certain duties that would now be performed by the MIA are currently performed by the DFM.
